Cape Wrath
Eighteen kilometers from Durness Village the most north-westerly point on the British mainland.


Open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Come and visit The Ozone Café - one of, if not THE remotest café's on the British Mainland for a selection of drinks and delicious hot/cold snacks (sandwiches available include; Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese and Prawn Marie Rose) which are available every day.

These can be consumed either in the small eating area, or around the Cape Wrath Lighthouse.

Also available, are a small selection of gifts/souveniers, including;

  • T-Shirts (£17.50),
  • Caps (£12.50),
  • Sew on badges (£10.00),
  • Fridge Magnets (£3.00),
  • Coasters (£4.00)
  • and postcards.

    Inside the café, there are a selection of six information boards, providing historical details of the Cape and the lighthouse.

    NOTE - at the moment, there are no public conveniences at The Ozone Café.


    As well as the drinks and snacks that are available, out of season there is possible transport back to the ferry port, where the ferryman can be contacted for transport over the Kyle
